HOW DO I...
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
These may be made
in person or by telephone. URGENT cases will be seen on the same day but we cannot
guarantee this will be your own GP. If you are unable to make your appointment please inform us
as soon as possible.
HOW DO I...
OBTAIN A HOME VISIT?
If you need
a home visit please try to contact the surgery BEFORE 10.00am. It is usual for the
GP to telephone you prior to any visit to discuss your needs.
HOW
DO I... OBTAIN
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS?
Please allow us 2 working
days notice for repeat Prescriptions to be processed. The request should be in
writing and either posted to, or handed in at reception. If you are unable to
collect your prescription from us please send a stamped address envelope with
your prescription request and we will post it back to you. We have daily prescription
collections from several local pharmacies. If you wish your prescription to be
collected on your behalf please let the receptionist know.
HOW
DO I... REGISTER
WITH THE PRACTICE?
In order to register with the surgery you must live within our catchment
area. A map is available at Reception. At the time of registering you may express
a preference to be registered with a particular GP. We will endeavour to meet
your request if we are able. A registration check will be carried out by your
GP and the Practice Nurse, who will check your weight, height and blood pressure
and will ask you a few general questions about your health and lifestyle.
HOW
DO I... MAKE
A COMMENT/COMPLAINT?
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service provided we have an
in-house complaints procedure. All complaints should be directed to the Practice
Manager. We are also open to any constructive suggestions from our patients which
may improve the services we offer.
HOW
DO I... OBTAIN

appreciate that our lines are especially busy between 8.30am and 10.30am, therefore,
